Idea Napkin No. 1

My name is Carina Sheffield, born and raised from Jacksonville, Florida. I am a very friendly and caring person. I love to meet new people and learn new things. I can be very talkative at times when meeting exciting and interesting people. Also I am a great listener. I encourage hearing thoughts and ideas of other people. A trait and curse is that I care what others think of me however I find it to be more of a benefit in my experience in customer service. I have had to learn it's impossible to please everyone but that's okay. I see that my concern and personal traits being very helpful in the organization of providing quality counselors to up coming graduates. I have personally went through public schooling a community college that had in my opinion unacceptable counselors which have such a role to students. A unmotivated counselor can make a such a negative impact to a student that I believe every student should have the opportunity to have a quality counselor that is there to help them to succeed. My experience of never seeing the same counselor caused me to be told all kinds of different advise and information which resulted in ciaos delaying my education.

This organization is offering the opportunity to succeed with the least amount of stress and with someone to help along the way that you can turn to in the journey of furthering one's education. Offering an assigned counselor that one can turn to when needing help or having questions answered along with networking with people who are experienced in guiding students. This eliminates the stress of not knowing how to going about aid and getting all different kinds advise when seeing many different counselors.

This organization is directed towards future and current students of college. Whether at a university or community college or even still in high school or beyond the common age. This allows those who might have been out of school for a while speak to someone who knows what and how to get things done that the potential student wants. I have had many friends whose parents went back to school after being out of school for over 20 years sometimes unsure how to get a degree to progress ones life to change or better ones life. So this can be for ages as low as 15 in high school wanting to get a head start to as old as 50 years old who want to get a degree.

People care because college is not easy and is not cheap. People don't like or want to waste money on taking classes or paying for classes when they qualify for aid. I know there to be several scholarships out there that I did not know about when starting out and was never given quality advise. Constantly told about student loans, listening to counselors that clearly did not hear me at all changing my major and trying to get me to study something other than what I want. People care to have others there that listen and are there to help one succeed.

I'm not sure if there are other organizations out there that specialize in premier college counselor's but if there are our counselor's will not only be qualified but truly care about being there for these students. As well as giving advise and helping one with every aspect from classes to financial aid not having to see different people and wait in ridiculous lines waiting to speak to someone who might send you to someone else. These counselor's will also provide the opportunity to network and meet people they know who might be beneficial to your future career.

I believe these all fit together in providing a organization that cares about your future which results its this economy as whole to strive and succeed!
